Leica Store Hamburg
The Meister brand has been marketed by the Meister family in Hamburg since 1970 and has since developed into the most competent "Leica address" in Germany and beyond.
Now the Meister Camera Store has opened its new premises in the centre of Hamburg.
We are very proud that imi surface design was used for the interior. The mix of warm wild oak, cool concrete look and glass create an urban feel-good atmosphere in the new premises of the Meister Camera Store in Hamburg city centre.
In addition to real wood, the composite material imi-beton smooth formwork grey 120 was chosen for the showcases, counters and wall cladding. The design provides a concrete-like look and feel with air pockets and gives the objects a modern industrial design.
The walls give the impression of solid exposed concrete elements. These are panels that are in no way inferior to the original material in terms of look and feel and score particularly well in terms of their own weight and workability. The panels consist of a composite of imi- concrete and a multiplex panel (20 mm) with a cut-out. These are hung on a pre-wall construction made of aluminium angle profiles with CNC-produced drill holes.
For the concrete elements at the central sales counter and the cubic presentation showcases, MDF was used as a support panel (20 mm). The visible edges were covered with imi-beton ABS edge material 1 mm thick and lightly chamfered.
imi surface design offers architects, interior designers and carpenters surface looks in concrete, rust, old wood, stone, sandstone and asphalt, which are ideal for wall, ceiling and floor design or professional furniture and interior design.
